Scholarship Information

Toby Braverman Scholarship Award

The Award will be based on the following:  

• Academic standing (as evidenced by an official transcript). 

• A personal statement which is not to exceed two pages, double-spaced to include career goals, a statement of early childhood philosophy, and a description of an experience with a young child which influenced your decision to enter the early childhood field.

• A letter of recommendation from a Rockland Community College faculty member or fieldwork supervisor.  

• A letter from a member of the community attesting to dependability and character.  

• A personal interview.
