If you suspect or observe a child in imminent danger call 911 immediately. If you suspect child abuse, maltreatment or neglect call the New York State Child Abuse and Maltreatment Register at 800-342-3720/TTY 800-638-5163.

In order to ensure that the early childhood or school age care experience remains of the highest quality we encourage you, the parent, guardian or community member to call the general complaint number 800-732-5207 should you have any concerns.

Find out about the program’s procedures for handling parent complaints.  There should be a clear set of guidelines that explain complaint procedures and advise parents that unresolved complaints be sent to the appropriate child care licensing agency.  If you have concerns about abuse or neglect, or your child care program’s state licensing compliance, contact your state licensing office and/or Department of Social Services.  See our listing of important phone numbers.  They will listen to your concerns and investigate the situation.

Complaints directed towards Child Care Resources of Rockland, Inc. (CCRR) personnel, made either on the telephone or in person will be addressed in a timely fashion and will be forwarded to the Executive Director. In our efforts to serve the community in a professional capacity any and all complaints will be followed up with the individual(s) in question through procedural channels. Complainants will receive official correspondence (either written or verbal) from the Executive Director within 10 business days of the original complaint.
