Q. Is the NORSAC program open during school holidays?
A. No, our program runs concurrently with the North Rockland school calendar. On half days, only the morning programs and K-Care are still in session.
Q. Are the payments different each month?
A. No, the tuition is divided into ten equal monthly payments according to the number of school days.
Q. What if I cannot afford the tuition?
A. The county has a subsidy program available for working families in need of child care. To find out if you qualify, call (845) 574-4600.
Q. What if I am not eligible for the county program?
A. Attached to the NORSAC application is a scholarship form. This will need to be completed, and returned with a copy of your most current tax return and two recent pay stubs to be considered. If there are any special circumstances please attach them in writing with the return of your application.
