CALLING ALL ROCKLAND CHILD ADVOCATES!

Join child advocates across the U.S. who will "Step Up 4 Kids"

STEP UP 4 KIDS IN ALBANY, NEW YORK

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH, 2008

“Step Up 4 Kids” day is a non-partisan event.  It will begin

with a press conference featuring Dr. T. Berry Brazelton and other leaders at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. 

At the same time, on the steps of every state capitol, the many friends of children will “step up” at their own press events and

show their support for smart investments in America’s families. Join the Rockland Child Rights Campaign Committee and other NY child advocates to meet with our state lawmakers.

JOIN US!  The bus trip is free of charge!  Seats will fill up fast.  If you need to cancel, you must do so 24 hours prior to the trip.  Snacks will be provided on the bus, but feel free to bring your own.

For those of you who cannot attend, please consider supporting this effort with a donation. 

Also, for those unable to attend, please schedule visits with your legislators locally.

The bus will depart from the Suffern Holiday Inn

(Exit 14B on the Thruway) at 7:50am and we expect to return at approximately 6:00pm.
